Tokai Vintage Series LS154Q -Oak- Les Paul Type Made in Japan Quilt top. Shizuoka Prefecture is a "Tokai" brand that is handmade in Hamamatsu City. Tokai have been making electric guitars since the 1960s, and it is a reliable construction unique to a long-established Japanese brand.

Especially the Les Paul type has been highly evaluated all over the world. This guitar uses Quilt attached to the body top.

I feel that the unique and attractive sound of the LP type is realized by the wood selection and manufacturing technology unique to Tokai Gakki. Nikawa (hide glue) is used to bond the neck, fingerboard, and body. Since glue is a difficult adhesive to handle, it is not usually used on guitars in this price range. It is a special spec that can only be achieved by Tokai musical instrument craftsmen with high technical capabilities. By using glue for adhesion, the vibration of the entire rod becomes supple, and I feel that it is finished with excellent stain and attractive sound. A wide range and a clear separation, yet a glossy and sticky sound like a Les Paul.
