Vintage 1964 Gibson paf patent number pickup for Les Paul es 355 335 SG L5 345 L

  

THIS IS AN EARLY VARIANT PAF(WITH PATENT NUMBER STICKER). Pole pieces were originally gold but are so worn down to the nickel underplate that you could use them on a guitar with gold or nickel plating. Everyone who has bought PAF's from me knows that I know these pickups and they are the real deal!

Lots of early paf features, such as double black lead wires (see pics). 17 inches of original lead wire.

"L" tooling marks on feet. This would be considered a second variant PAF as it was wound with the reddish orange wire rather than purplish. Otherwise, all the PAF features seem to be the same. Tests really strong at 7.8 k ohms. (Your reading may vary depending on your meter and atmospheric conditions).

I'm using a craftsman digital multitester. This is a chance to get an early 60's PAF tone for a great price!! This one is super clean and STRONG reading!!
